Double Chocolate Brownie/Muffin Recipe

This afternoon I did some baking and had the chance to use my baking chocolate I received in my Degustabox. I was supposed to be making some Double Chocolate Muffins but I couldn't find my bun cases so I had to improvise and bake it in a cake tin so it ended up looking and tasting more like a brownie. As it turned out kind of in between, I thought it would be great with custard and it really was!
Brownie recipe
Ingredients:
75g Self Raising Flour
75g Plain Flour
2 tsp of Baking Powder
25g of Cocoa Powder
50g Dark Brown Sugar
1 egg
65g of Butter, melted
120ml of Milk

Method:
1. Pre heat oven to 190 degrees
2. Line your tin with baking paper
3. Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa in a mixing bowl
4. Stir in brown sugar and add chocolate chunks. I used dark and milk chocolate
5. Make a well in the centre of dry mixture
6. In a bowl or jug mix the egg, melted butter and milk
7. Pour into the well and mix to form a batter
8. Empty into the tin and bake in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes
9. Transfer to a wire rack and leave to cool
10. Cut into squares, best served warm

This was basically like one big cake and it was just so nice! I'm kind of glad with how it turned out, who doesn't love cake?

Have you done much baking recently?
