Chocolate Chip Shortbread Biscuits

Todays post is a little recipe for some amazing Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies. I found the recipe for these a while ago and I thought they looked so easy to make and quick too. I added in a few other bits to make them more my own and I also only had Aero Chocolate in rather than chocolate chips so thats what I ended up using but they went so well!
Ingredients.
175g Butter
85g Caster Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
100g of Chocolate chips or any chocolate broken into little pieces
225g Plain Flour

Method.
1. Place the Caster Sugar, Butter and Vanilla Essence into a bowl and cream together until soft
2. Once combined, add the flour and chocolate and mix
3. Use hands to start bringing it all together then tip out onto a surface
4. Form into a dough and roll out into a sausage shape. If it is too soft, put in the fridge to harden for about half an hour
5. Cut into pieces and place on a large baking tray
6. Put into a 180 degrees oven for 10 minutes

Thats all there is to it, so simple and quick but taste delicious! I think this will become my new go to recipe for biscuits as most of the time they never turn out this good!
