Fifty Shades of Grey Books and Movie Review...

I really wasn't sure whether to do a review on this film or not, just because I know some people have certain opinions of it and see it in a completely different way to what I do, but I thought why shouldn't I? Because I love the film and if I want to talk about it, I should be able too.

I was so excited to see the film in the cinema on Valentines Day, we booked tickets so early and I plan on doing that with the next film though we do have until 2017 to wait! I'd read the first book and like many people I wasn't that impressed with the writing of it but I've re-read it since and it isn't that bad. Especially since watching the film, its so much easier because you can properly picture all of the characters and I feel even more into the story than before. Just because the authors writing wasn't great, doesn't mean it isn't a great story because it really is and I think it transitioned well into film.
They picked the perfect actors for the roles of Ana and Christian. Dakota Johnson is just Ana, she was the only one who could do it justice in my opinion and the same goes for Jamie Dornan as Christian. I'm a bit in love with him. And I love how his Irish accent sneaks in a few times in the film. They had so much chemistry and I was hooked all the way through. As soon as we watched it in the cinema, I pre-ordered the dvd and a few nights ago we finally got to watch it again and I loved it just as much, if not even more because of the alternate ending! The alternate ending is so good, I would have loved that as the original ending. I think the general story of it is really interesting and I like how in the three books it continues and it isn't just as straightforward as they just overcome all of their issues and live happily ever after after the first one. I can't wait to see how the second and third book are portrayed on screen. I loved the director of Fifty Shades Sam Taylor Johnson and she isn't doing the others which is a bit disappointing, hopefully whoever they choose next will be just as good and as passionate about the story as she was.
Overall, its just a really good love story, a bit different to your usual ones but still good. I honestly love it and it really has become one of my favourite films and I love the books. I've re-read them all a few times and I'm now reading Grey - Christians Perspective which to me is even better. I really wanted to know what he was thinking or feeling throughout the books and the films, so its so good that shes now wrote it, even better than I imagined. It's rumoured shes writing the second and third book from his perspective too which im really looking forward too, especially the second as that one is my favourite, so much happens and it gets even more intense.

Have you read the books or seen the film? What's your opinion on it?
