My Simple Lasagne Recipe

So time for my first recipe post! I love cooking and lasagne is one of my faves so I had to do a post on it. We had it for tea last night and it was all from scratch, so easy and so tasty! If you want to make this too, this recipe serves 4 but obviously I just make it for George and I and then there's usually leftovers.
Simple Beef Lasagne with chips
Ingredients:
250g of Mince
1 onion chopped finely
1 pepper chopped
Sachet of white sauce
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
400ml beef stock
Lasagne Sheets
Mixed herbs, salt and pepper
Grated cheese

Method:
1. First of all brown the mince in a hot pan, you shouldn't need much oil if any, we normally use a few sprays of the Frylight sunflower oil
2. When the mince is almost cooked, add in the onion and pepper and fry until soft. Next pour in the chopped tomatoes and the beef stock, stir well
3. Add in mixed herbs, salt and pepper, sometimes garlic salt is a nice addition too and leave to simmer for around half an hour
4. I normally prepare the white sauce in a small separate pan while the tomato sauce is cooking. I just used an asda's own sauce this time, though there are branded available which turn out exactly the same. All I had to do with this was add 300ml of milk and leave it to simmer until it become a nice, thick sauce
5. When both of the sauces are prepared, it time to start assembling the lasagne. First you spread about half of the mince mixture into the dish, layer about 3 lasagne sheets over it, you can use more or less depending on the size of the dish
6. After you've added the sheets, pour half of the white sauce mixture and spread
7. Next you just repeat, add the mince, sheets on top of that and then the remaining sauce
8. Finally grate some cheese on top, this is the part I enjoy the most when it is cooked
9. Cook in a 200 degrees pre-heated oven for about 40-45 minutes
10. When cooked serve with, garlic bread/salad/chips. Or you could just have it by itself.

Lasagne is such a go meal of ours, it's always delicious and worth the wait! I think this is a recipe we've really perfected now so I always look forward to it.
