Spanish Paella Recipe

Last night we made Spanish Paella using one of the Schwartz Flavour Shots from last months Degustabox so I thought I would post the recipe for anyone that might want to give it a try! I very rarely make anything like this but every time I always wish it was something we had more.
A Spanish Paella
Ingredients: to serve 2
1 Schwartz Spanish Paella Flavour Shot
2 rashers of bacon/chorizo/peperami (It's your choice what you add, we've used bacon before but added peperami this time)
200g of boneless chicken breast, diced
150g of Paella or Risotto Rice
1 1/2 pints of water
Olive oil/Fry light
Salt and Pepper

Method:
1. Add oil to the frying pan
2. Stir the flavour shot then add to the warm pan
3. We baked the chicken in the oven which will be added near the end
4. Fry the bacon/chorizo in a smaller pan
5. Add the rice to the flavour shot and fry for 1 minute
6. Add water and bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer for 25 minutes
7. Add the bacon/chorizo to the mix along with the chicken for the last few minutes then serve

This goes really well with crusty bread and salad but you can pretty much do what you want with it. It's great as part of a tapas selection too! I'd highly recommend the flavour shots from Schwartz, they make cooking meals like this so easy and simple!

Let me know if you give this recipe a try, I'd love to see it!
