Glorious! Review...

Recently I was sent some products to review by the lovely people at Glorious! Glorious sell a range of soups and sauces all in a range of exciting flavours which I couldn't wait to try.
Glorious
The first flavour soup we tried was the Beef and Black Eye Bean Soup which was delicious. It was hard for anything else to top this! This has flavours of Beef, Red Wine, Black Eyed Beans and a hint of lime. I thought thought that this would be perfect in winter when it's so cold outside and you just want a nice, warming bowl of soup. For half a pot this was only 114 calories which I think is brilliant, for that amount of calories too it was actually really filling. This is limited edition so if you want to try it I'd get it soon!

The next flavour we tried was the Rio Carnival Soup. This has flavours of Plantain, Fresh Lime and Chilli. I've never tried Plantain in my life so I had no idea what this would be like and what to expect. I love anything with a hint of chilli and lime though and I think those two go together so well. I did like this but it definitely wasn't my favourite out of them all, that's not to say someone else wouldn't absolutely love this though! This is 126 calories for 1/2 a pot.

Now onto the sauces. I was sent the Barefoot in Bologna which is a sausage ragu with spinach perfect to go with pasta. This wasn't a smooth sauce, quite chunky which I liked, not really any need to add any other meat to it, it's lovely just with pasta stirred together. This can be warmed in the microwave for a few minutes which is quick and convenient, perfect for work if you need something for lunch. It's just over 250 calories for the full pot but this could easily be shared between two.

The next sauce is Lost In Lombardy which is a baked pumpkin and amaretto sauce. I would never think to pick this up in a shop but it was actually quite nice and definitely different to any other sauces I have. Similar to the other sauces, brilliant to have with pasta or you could experiment and have it with some sort of meat with potatoes.
Glorious
The last sauce we tried was A Night In Tuscany. This has flavours of tomato and chianti and is 124 calories for 1/2 a post. This one is perfect with pasta and I think would be a nice base sauce for a chilli which is one of my favourite meals. I actually think of all of these sauces would be good on a pizza, if you're making your own and want something a bit different you could use this on the base instead of tomato puree.

Overall, we really liked all of the products we were sent and we will definitely be buying some again in the future! My favourite was definitely the Beef and Black Eyed Beans Soup and this is something if still available in winter will be in our fridge ready for cold nights! If you want to try any Glorious products they are available at Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys and Ocado.
