Food I Have Been Loving This Week #5

It's been so long since I last did one of these! But I am back with a few new favourites..
1. Terrys Chocolate Orange Minis - I have an unhealthy addiction to these, I just want them all the time! I've already asked George if he can get me just loads of packs of these for christmas because they're amazing and I think you can only get them around this time of year. I love it when it starts getting to Autumn and Winter time because thats when all the christmas chocolate comes out and its my favourite.

2. Bacon Topped Turkey - We've had this a few times and its so easy to make and tastes really good. We just get a pack of two turkey steaks from Asda, I always feel really good when I've eaten turkey as its supposed to be so good for you, not that we have it that often to make any sort of difference! We just do it in the pan with fry-light and while it is cooking we grill some bacon, fat cut off. When both are done, we put the turkey on the grill, top with the cooked bacon and add a slice or two of cheese on top, back under the grill for 5 minutes or so until the cheese is melted and gooey. We normally have this with some golden rice, but last time we had it with new potatoes, I did loads by accident and in my defence, they were all chopped up so thats why it looks like there is loads on the picture, I also had a salad with it too. This meal would be completely free on Slimming World if you count the cheese as your healthy extra and as we're trying to get back into it at the moment, it's a great meal to start with as it feels like a real treat.

3. All the vegetables! - I don't know why but for the last week or so I've just been craving vegetables. This never happens! When I do a roast I literally pile my plate with peas, green beans, cauliflower and broccoli and carrots, so nice. I love having loads of vegetables with a roast and I feel full for ages afterwards.

4. Giovanni Rana Simply Italian Tortellini - This is such a quick and simple meal and great for when we are both just too tired to cook after work. We've been having it loads recently with a homemade tomato sauce which I make with just a tin of chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper, a bit of tomato puree and an oxo and I sometimes add some spinach in too if we have any. Our favourite one is the Spinach and Ricotta and I really like the bolognese one too!

5. Caramel Freddos - These are so great for taking to work when you just need a little bit of chocolate, I normally want something like this in the afternoon! They are only 5 syns on slimming world and are one of my favourites.

Have you seen the previous weeks? - 1, 2, 3 and 4.
