I didn't do anything wild on my 21st birthday and I felt like that was the last 'big' birthday I would ever have. Getting older absolutely petrifies me, and like you it always makes me frustrated that I'm not at the point in my life where I want to be

Steph - www.nourishmeblog.co.ukStephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13276316193146837172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965175098175144733.post-40278787286636030812017-01-05T14:40:14.378+00:002017-01-05T14:40:14.378+00:00I'm glad I'm not the only one, but it is c...I'm glad I'm not the only one, but it is crap isn't it worrying about it? My anxiety flares up sometimes which makes it kinda hard to celebrate. I am also 22 in January! January babies! What date? I'll be sure to wish you a happy birthday!

Alice x | www.invocati.co.ukAlicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05397658779515002196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965175098175144733.post-75858146035470586182016-12-14T17:11:16.389+00:002016-12-14T17:11:16.389+00:00It really is isn't it? I hate even looking on Facebook on my birthday to be honest just in case people I expected to say happy birthday haven't. At the moment I know the day will involve a lot of cake and if I just have a chilled birthday then that's fine, I just hate the actual anxiety in the run up to it! Thank you so much for your comment :) xxTiffany Timmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329740334886521293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965175098175144733.post-27081014652129199832016-12-14T14:52:57.933+00:002016-12-14T14:52:57.933+00:00I always dread my birthday! And I think you bring up such a good point about Facebook, it's like a popularity contest and I always hate logging on to see who has posted, half the time it's people I last spoke to years ago! I'm turning 22 in April and I actually am finding this year a bit easier to accept because there's less pressure than the big 21. I also am estranged from half of my family and it's a big reminder and also a big stress but try to remember it's about doing what makes you happy, even if that means staying in with a takeaway and writing your blog! Good luck and dare I say, Happy Birthday xx

http://my20staughtme.wordpress.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16107966414817221533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965175098175144733.post-15223893526748532212016-12-14T12:10:11.972+00:002016-12-14T12:10:11.972+00:00Thank you so much for your comment, it's alrea...Thank you so much for your comment, it's already made me feel a bit better about it all! I completely agree that the people who don't say happy birthday aren't important, I need to remember that if they don't get in touch then I shouldn't want them in my life anyway! I'll definitely be setting some goals for next year too, thank you again :) xxTiffany Timmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329740334886521293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965175098175144733.post-18885597595083488062016-12-14T11:50:17.268+00:002016-12-14T11:50:17.268+00:00I also dread birthdays! I think it's common when you get to certain age to be scared of birthdays. It's easier said than done but you need to not think so much about growing a year older and more about goals and what you want to achieve in the next year, set small goals so when you achieve them you feel good about yourself! As for being worried about people forgetting, that definitely comes with being older because everyone tends to grow apart, don't worry about the people who don't say happy birthday because they clearly aren't important, focus on the people that are remembering and celebrating with you!
xoxoAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11910339525982389334noreply@blogger.com
