What's In My Beauty Bag? Ft. Tangle Angel*

I've been wanting to do a What's In My Bag for quite a while now but to be honest it's always full of so much random stuff I just didn't think it would make a brilliant post. I did however think a What's In My Beauty Bag might be good, the little bag I like to keep in my handbag and take with me when I'm out for the day or when I'm on the go travelling. It's not full of loads of stuff, just a few makeup bits I like to have with me and also a few other random bits that are essentials for me. If I choose not to take this with me, I usually take a few of these things in my jacket pocket anyway so they really are brilliant for on the go and I just thought this might be quite interesting to do!
First of all, the little makeup bag I'm using is one I got free from Birchbox last month. As it was my first box I got a little freebie and this has been so perfect for my makeup over the last few weeks!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer

I'm not going to lie, this isn't my favourite concealer and I actually reviewed it a while ago which you can find here, so I won't go into too much detail. I just find it's not very easy to blend and just not as good as others I've used before but as it's so small and compact, it's brilliant for on the go. It does give good coverage so it's brilliant to just dab on to any spots that suddenly appear throughout the day or to add under my eyes if my mascara runs or something like that! It's definitely a good one for travelling so if you do want to give it a go it's available in Superdrug at the moment.

Mini Tangle Angel Brushes*

Quite a new addition to my beauty bag but one I'm loving! I've seen Tangle Angel all over social media and other blogs for a while now so I was thrilled when they offered to send me a few of their mini Tangle Angel brushes. I knew these would be brilliant to either just keep in my jacket pocket or to go in my little makeup bag and they are so good for on the go. I have such long hair and when I'm out it can get so tangly and messy so one of these is brilliant to use to brush through it when I'm out. I know if I'm caught in the rain or anything I can use one of these to keep my hair in okay condition! What I love about these is that they have antibacterial additives embedded into the plastic meaning all their brushes are super hygienic and safe to use, and they are also anti static so they prevent any flyaway hairs leaving it smooth and silky! Not only are they really useful, look how pretty they are! They are available in a range of colours but I love the ones I have. They are just fab and if you want to try any out, check them out here where they are available for £4.95.

Malee Perfume*

Another new addition to my beauty bag but one that is an essential! I love perfume anyway but it's so good to have one with me on the go. I always worry I don't smell nice, especially if I've been out for a while so I like being able to just spritz a bit of this on me while I'm out. This one in particular is lovely, it's so fresh and uplifting and lasts for hours so it's such a great one to have for travelling. It's a really decent size too, not too bulky for my bag and doesn't take up lots of room. I have a full review on this here if anyone wants to read more about it.

Eyeliner

Another makeup item and that's just a basic eyeliner, this is the Rimmel Soft Kohl one. I absolutely love wearing black eyeliner and loads of mascara to make my eyes stand out. They are probably one of my favourite things about myself and I just love how they look with some dark eye makeup. I just like to reapply this sometimes when I'm out, especially during winter when the cold is making my eyes run and run! At the moment I'm using one from Rimmel which is really good but I'm really not fussy with eyeliner. A product I can't be without.

This Works Calm To Go

As I struggle with anxiety, having something I know can help me when I'm out, on me, is a must. I've been using This Works products for a few years now and find they help massively! The Calm To Go is fab and it's basically their deep sleep spray but in roller form meaning it can just be applied to the wrists when you're out. It doesn't send me off to sleep or anything but just really calms me down and instantly makes me feel better. There are certain places which can trigger my anxiety or make me feel like I'm going to have a panic attack so this is great to keep in my pocket or in my bag for times like that. What I like about this is that even though it's small anyway and travel friendly, it also comes in a little case with a zip so no worries about losing it in your bag!
So that's the main things I like to keep in my beauty bag. It's a bit of a mix and as I don't wear loads and loads of makeup there is no point me taking it all out with me, just the basics I need and also the other bits that are all so useful and essentials now for me! I'd love to know if you have anything like this and what you like to take with you on the go. Have you tried anything from Tangle Angel before or any of the other brands I've mentioned?

*Tangle Angels were sent for the purpose of this post, as always I only work with brands I feel are relevant to me and my blog. Malee Perfume was sent to me and reviewed but I wasn't asked to include it in this post, just genuinely wanted to!
