Sweet Dreams With Feather & Down*

I'm always looking for new products to try to help with my sleep. I've suffered with insomnia on and off for a good few years now and when I'm having a bad month or so with it, it is the most draining thing ever! I genuinely become like a zombie. Luckily my sleeping pattern hasn't been too bad over the last few months but some days are worse than others and as I've been really stressed for the last few weeks, these products from the amazing people at Feather and Down, couldn't have come at a more perfect time!
I've seen Feather and Down all over my Instagram for a while now and they seem to be really popular amongst a lot of bloggers but for those of you who haven't heard of them before, they are an English company dedicated to helping everyone get a restful nights sleep and they sell a range of products that can help you. They sell bath, body and home fragrance products that can all help you relax, and the ones I was sent are the - All Purpose Sleep Balm, Shower Cream and Pillow Spray.

I thought I'd start with the Pillow Spray, just because I've used products like this before and loved them so I really wanted to see what this one was like. First of all I just want to say I think the price of this is incredible! It's £7 for 100ml and I'm so impressed with that as I've bought pillow sprays before for so much more than that for a much smaller amount so this is actually a bit of a bargain compared to some other brands. What I love about these sprays is that they can just stand on your bedside table, take up very little room and can be sprayed right before bed. I usually spray a few times on my pillow, a few times on Georges (not that he ever needs any help with falling asleep!) and then some on the quilt. I tend to find with pillow sprays that they work pretty much straight away, the scent almost instantly relaxes me and makes me sleepy. Even if I don't drift off straight away, I always feel more calm and ready for bed which is always nice and it means no stress of tossing and turning trying to get to sleep. I've absolutely loved this and can guarantee I'll be picking more up when I've ran out!
Next I tried the Shower Creme, I had absolutely no idea what this would be like and it really wasn't what I expected, but in a good way! I think I've seen a shower product similar to this before from another brand but I've not seen it for a long time so I think Feather and Down have come up with something amazing here. I love a hot, late night shower in winter, there is nothing better than getting all warm and into fresh pj's ready for bed, and this shower creme is perfect for times like that. Taking a shower before bed prepares you for sleep and the warm water relaxes your body and ease any tensions after a long day,  the shower creme just melts into a calming oil when massaged into the skin and it's such a lovely product. This wasn't a gel at all, more like foam and it really did lather up well. It had a beautiful scent of lavender and chamomile like the pillow spray, and left my skin feeling so soft and nourished. It's £6 for 250ml so a little bit pricey but if you really do struggle with sleep then I definitely recommend this. It's definitely great if you're looking for something a little bit more luxurious or want a proper relaxing, pamper night.
The last product I tried and have been using every night over the last few weeks is the All Purpose Sleep Balm. I'd never seen anything like this before so I was really intrigued by how it would work and what you do with it. It's really easy to use, just apply a bit on your pulse points and massage, so I've mainly been putting it on my temples. I find massaging my temples really relaxing anyway and do it quite a lot when I have a headache so it's been nice to have this to use. Like the other products it has a really soothing scent and has definitely made me feel much more relaxed before bed. This combined with the pillow spray has genuinely made me feel a lot more content and comfortable and has allowed me to drift off much quicker than before.
I honestly do love these products and I think Feather and Down are just a brilliant brand. I love the range of products they do, there is something for everyone and I really do think if you're someone who struggles with sleep then it's worth giving these a go. Combined these three have definitely made me sleep better over the last few weeks. Not only have I felt much more relaxed before bed, I've also slept through most nights and fallen into quite a deep sleep, it's been a struggle some mornings to get myself out of bed!
I think my favourite out of the three would be the pillow spray, which has actually been doing really well for so many people aswell. This recently hit 50, 5 star reviews on Boots so it's clearly working for so many others too!
I really won't hesitate to buy more from Feather and Down in the future. I love discovering new brands that can help with sleep problems and this is one I don't think I can go without now! All 3 of these products have actually worked and I've got myself into a little routine each night with them all. I've got my eyes on the candle next to get as I think that will go perfect in the bedroom! If you want to give some of these products a go, you can find out more on their website here and they are stocked in Boots.

Have you tried anything from Feather and Down before?
