Impromptu Date Night - Chiquitos & Beauty and the Beast

Last night me and George had an impromptu date night and as it was so lovely, I wanted to blog about it. I really like doing little posts like this because I know I'm going to love reading back on them one day.

We hadn't really planned to go out but I had been wanting to see Beauty and the Beast and with everyone saying how good it was, I couldn't wait much longer! So George suggested going and also going for a meal too which is something we haven't done in so long. We decided on Chiquitos because we both love mexican food and they do the BEST nachos!
We had the sharing nachos to start with beef chilli, OMG you have to try these if you go! They're just covered in sour cream, salsa, guacamole and cheese and you can choose a topping from either beef chilli, spicy chicken or chorizo and cranberry salsa. These are honestly the best nachos I've ever had, just so delicious. I could eat them again right now. For mains I went for the Spicy Chicken Chimichanga with skin on fries (the best chips!) and George had the Pulled Pork Burrito. I absolutely loved mine and it was something I'm not sure I've ever had before.
After our meal we went over to the cinema and of course had to get ice cream. The sundaes they do at our cinema are so good. I had strawberry cheesecake ice cream which was incredible, and a nutty cream cheese brownie ice cream (I think that's what it was) with hot fudge sauce, cream and marshmallows. I didn't get chance to take a picture but we both had different ones and they were amazing. Now I've spoken about all the food we ate, I should probably mention the film itself. In short, it was beautiful. I wasn't sure what to expect as I'm not the biggest fan of Emma Watson but she was the perfect fit for Belle and Dan Stevens was brilliant as the beast. Emma Watson as Mrs Potts was perfect and just adorable, and Ewan McGregor as Lumiere was one of my favourites. I loved everything about it, the story, all of the cast and the songs! It made me laugh and it made me cry, quite a lot. By the end of the dance scene I was practically sobbing and I didn't really stop then for the rest of it. It was just wonderful. I would love to see it again.
For a Monday, we ended up having a really nice night. I definitely want to get back to going on regular date nights as it's something we used to do quite a lot. Also, if you haven't seen Beauty and the Beast yet, you need too!

Have you seen it? If you have, what did you think?
