My Go-To HairStyle For Date Night*

AD - This is a paid advertorial
Since George and I brought home our little Bear last April, we've really noticed the impact of date nights and how important it is we have at least one day or night a month where we get time together, just us two. I honestly don't know what we did before we had Bear and as much as we love him and he is rightly the priority for us now, some days you just need a break. I'm sure he feels the same! Recently we've been heading out to the cinema a lot, going for a romantic evening meal, lunch dates, visited the Emmerdale tour, and gone to many a Christmas market, and they've all been very much needed and appreciated. Whenever we have a date night, I always like to dress up a little. Don't get me wrong, I think my style could still be classed as casual but it's the perfect opportunity to wear a new outfit, jazz up your makeup and do something special with your hair.

Speaking of hair, I have a real love/hate relationship with it. At times I think it looks pretty good - bouncy, brunette and something that suits me. Other days I feel it looks dull and lifeless, but I'm sure we all have good and bad days with it don't we? When I was younger I went through a bit of a phase with dying my hair and now I often get that urge to do it again. I used to love a dark red or even a really dark purple colour and surprisingly they suited me but I've been thinking that maybe a Balayage hair colour could be next? I do think my hair is need of a freshen up.

Though I'm not quite decided on which colour to go for just yet, when it comes to a date night, I do like to put a bit more effort into my hair and makeup and my current go to look is subtle curls.

After I've washed my hair and blow-dried which always adds volume, I start on the task of curling. My hair has always been quite straight so it does take quite a bit of time and effort to get some real curls that are going to stick but it's worth it. I've used countless curling products over the years but the one I'm currently a fan of is the Remington Silk Curling Wand. I have no idea about these things really but it does the job! Curling my hair is something that has taken years to get the hang off and I'm still no expert but I do find a curling wand that you can just twist your hair around is the quickest method. I always end up with quite tight, bouncy curls so I gently brush through afterwards and I'm always happy with the results. One final spritz of hairspray and I'm good to go.

If I'm not curling my hair for date night, I'll either straighten it which is a classic go-to hairstyle for me or I'll leave it au natural which shows off natural waves. I try not to use too much heat on my hair nowadays, though when I was younger I would straighten it to within an inch of it's life but now I'm much more comfortable with it when it's natural. I do always feel so much better when I've really spent time on it though and the curls you can see in the photos are my favourite style to turn to.

I'm definitely not used to sharing pictures of myself on my blog or any of my social media to be honest, I just love taking photos of Bear as you might be able to tell so this was seriously out of my comfort zone! I'd love to know what your go-to hairstyle is for a date night or girls night out too?

My hair is thigh length so I'm very lazy with it a lot of the time, and as a resuly I'm not very good when it comes to hair stuff. My hair is wavy/ lightly curly and if it wasn't for the frizz that comes along with the curls, I'd love my natural hair. I always end up curling it, but as a light wave...that looks almost like my natural hair but smoother if I'm making an effort with it x

My hair is long, thin and straight! So I love being able to add waves or light curls to it. Which I usually do with straighteners.

Love seeing your pretty face in your blog posts more! Your hair is lovely. My hair would never go like that when I curled it when it was longer! x

Mine can look so dull and lifeless if I don't do anything with it so curls are always a fab idea! x

It's so much harder to style when longer isn't it? I really need to get mine cut soon as I always finds that adds some volume which I like xx

I used to use straighteners a lot to curl my hair, it's a great tool if you can get the hang of it x

Thank you so much Jenny! That's so lovely. It took a lot of work to get it to hold properly! I need to get a trim soon so I'm hoping that will mean they last a little longer and hold a bit better for the day xx

My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough. here is his Email: emutemple@gmail.com or call/text him on his WhatsApp +2347012841542

He is also able to cast spell like 1: Lottery 2: Conceive 3: Breakup 4: Divorce 5: Cure for all kinds of diseases and viruses.
