October Favourites - London, Killing Eve & New Boots!

It actually feels like such a long time since my September favourites! I've no idea how as this year has just flown by and I'm still trying to get my head round how it's now November. I'm thrilled we're getting so close to Christmas but it's all happening so fast!

London - The first thing I wanted to include was our latest trip to London. Whenever there's an opportunity to go with George for a work trip, I'm going to take it and as it was for a good few days this time, it meant we got to do so much. The main thing I loved about this trip was going to see Heathers the Musical. I have been obsessed with the soundtrack so it was great to actually see the show and the cast were just brilliant. It was also so nice to venture out a bit further this time and go and see other areas of London we'd not had chance to visit before. Notting Hill was one of those and I'm so glad I took a day to go there and explore, it's absolutely beautiful! It was so lovely to find places I'd seen in films too, I already can't wait to go back again.

Killing Eve - OMG this show! I'm not sure what to say apart from if you haven't seen it, you are seriously missing out, it's just incredible. There have been some brilliant TV shows out recently but this has topped them all for me, I think we got through it in about 2 days and as soon as it was over, I just wanted more. Sandra Oh is brilliant as Eve, an MI5 officer who becomes obsessed with catching assassin Villanelle who is played by Jodie Comer. It's one of the best things I've watched in a long time and I think I'm going to have to go back and re-start it whilst I wait for series 2!
New Boots - I am utterly in love with these boots. I'd been needing a new pair for a while, shoes aren't something I tend to treat myself to that often but as soon as I saw these, I knew they were the one. I got them from New Look for about £25 and I just can't stop wearing them. They fit perfectly, are actually really comfortable which I don't find boots like this usually are and I just think they're perfect for Autumn and Winter. I love all things leopard print at the moment so I was so glad to spot these when I did.

Homemade Blondies - Blondies are one of my favourite absolute favourite things to bake. They're so simple, take very little time and always taste delicious. Each time I think they get better and better. I've got a recipe for these which you can find here if you want to try making them yourselves. You can add any chocolate you like but I personally think white chocolate goes the best with them. I'm going to have to make these again soon, just looking at the photo is making me hungry.

MasqueBAR Gold Peel Off Mask - I'm such a fan of a face mask so I loved trying out a few different ones from MasqueBAR recently. I've got a full review up of the masks I was sent but I really wanted to include this particular Gold Foil Mask in this post too as it was definitely my favourite out of them all. As it's a tube, you get far more than just one use out of it which definitely makes it worth the money and it's just really fun to use. It always leaves my skin feeling so soft afterwards too.

Harry Potter - The final thing this month had to be Harry Potter. I always love it when they start the films from the beginning on ITV and each Saturday we've been sitting down to watch them which has been so nice. It's been the perfect opportunity to get cosy with a blanket! I'm so sad they're all finished now, the films just never get old and I could watch them again and again. They always make me feel so festive too!

Have you been watching the Harry Potter films too? How was your October?
