I actually didn't think my monthly favourites would be on time this month as I've just had so many others posts ready to go up but I've managed it and it might seem a bit sad but I love getting these posts out at the start of a new month! This month there is a real mix of things and actually more homeware items than anything else, my favourite things to buy! And actually not as much TV as normal, by the way has anyone else just been obsessed with Celebrity Big Brother? I know it's finished now but seriously I was hooked!
Primark Winnie The Pooh Mug - How adorable is this?! I spotted this on the Primark Instagram last month and instantly I was determined to get it! I managed to convince George to go and hunt it down a few weeks ago and luckily he found one, I fully expected the Primarks near me to not have them! I just love it, and anything Winnie The Pooh themed. It's such a big mug so holds a lot of tea! It's brilliant, and going to be so good for lots of hot drinks in winter. It was £6 too which I don't think is too bad. I'm obsessed with it. I also picked up another Winnie mug a few weeks ago from Primark for £2.50 as I just couldn't leave it. Anyone else have a bit of an addiction to buying mugs?

Dogs Trust Prints - I am so in love with these two little prints from Dogs Trust. I sponsor two dogs and have done for a while, and I get a card from each of them 3 times a year, Christmas, Valentines and then one in Summer. When the summer card arrived last month, these two prints were included and they gave me the biggest smile ever! I put them straight on our photo wall in the bedroom and they go perfectly. Aren't they so adorable? Lollipop is a golden retriever and Arla is a german shepherd cross husky, I was actually sponsoring another dog called Melton but he found a new home recently so they gave me Arla instead and I think she's adorable. Dogs are my absolute favourite and I always get a bit emosh at the Dogs Trust adverts so I try to do my bit each month.
ProCook Cutlery* - Who knew cutlery was so hard to photograph?! I know this might seem like a bit of an odd one to include in a favourites but I like talking about a variety of things and these are something I've been loving throughout August. ProCook sent me some of their gold cutlery recently which includes teaspoons, spoons, knives and forks and there is just something about them that makes me want to use them rather than all the other cutlery I've got. Is anyone else really fussy about it and they have to be good quality? What I love about these is that they are so modern with their gold finish and go really well with a lot of other stuff in our kitchen. I can tell when I use them they are of good quality and aswell as that they are also comfortable to use and actually not too bad in price at all. If you're looking for anything like this then make sure to check out ProCook for lots of different kitchenware, tableware and baking equipment!
Oribe Wave & Shine Spray - This came in my first Birchbox last month and I've been using it every time I wash my hair since and I just love it so much! I'd been wanting to try something from Oribe for a while but just couldn't justify spending so much on one thing, so when this mini arrived in my Birchbox I was seriously happy. This is fab to just spray in your hair when it's freshly washed, still wet and then leave to air dry. It smells nice which is a bonus and generally just makes my hair dry naturally so much better than usual and it makes it feel so soft. So glad I got to try this.
Homemade Chilli Nachos - Chilli is legit one of my favourite ever meals and who doesn't love nachos? Chilli Cheese Nachos are something me and George love to have when we go to Chiquitos but we don't go often so we decided to make our own recently and they were INSANE! I just made a chilli as usual, but while that was simmering away, I put a load of nachos into a dish, topped with cheese and baked in the oven until it had all melted. When the chilli was done I then put that on top, added a little more cheese then put back in the oven for 5 minutes. After putting it on the table and taking a pic, we then added a load of dips on top, sour cream, guacamole and salsa and it was honestly one the best meals I've ever eaten. Everything just went together so well and I can't even put into words just how good it was. I'm not sure it requires a full recipe post but if that's something people want, let me know, I'd be more than happy to do it! I already can't wait to make this again.
At Home With Podcast - I've never really been into podcasts until last month when I started listening to 'At Home With' by Lily Pebbles and Anna Gardner. I watch both of these on youtube and I've loved them for years, so I was quite excited when they revealed they were starting their own podcast. It took me a while to finally start listening to some of the episodes, but now I have, I'm enjoying them so much! There were 10 epsiodes and in each one they went to someones house and just did a little interview about their life and also their home and interiors. So far the ones I've listened to are, Zoella and Giovanna Fletcher. There are a few more I've got left such as Liz Earle, Madeleine Shaw and Jo Elvin, all episodes are around 30 minutes long and are such a good thing to put on in the background. I've been listening these episodes while blogging instead of having the TV on and it's been really fun. I definitely recommend giving this series a go if you're into home stuff and a little bit nosy like me.
